NEWARK, NJ – Saint Michael’s Medical Center announced that Jugeet Kaur Kanwal, MD, has joined the hospital’s Primary and Specialty Care Center as a primary care physician.
Dr. Kanwal completed her internal medicine residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center outside of Philadelphia in 2020 and completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia the following year. She is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine.

Originally from New Zealand, Dr. Kanwal graduated from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College in Pune, India, in 2016.

Dr. Kanwal lives in North Brunswick with her husband, Dr. Abhitej Sidhu, and their daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, running along long trails, hiking in the woods and plans to train for a marathon. .
Saint Michael’s Primary and Specialty Care Center provides adult patients with annual checkups, preventative screenings, medical treatments for common illnesses and immunizations.
