Bunions are a common benign condition caused by the pressure of the big toe pushing against the metatarsal bone that results in a bony lump forming at the base of the big toe. You may notice your big toe leaning towards the other toes. This may cause difficulty walking or wearing shoes comfortable.

Our podiatrists will walk you through different treatment options available. Common causes are wearing tight shoes but other factors causing issues could be the structural aspect of the foot like flat and pronated feet. Lingering foot injuries can also be a factor. Bunions can typically be addressed with over the counter medication however complex cases may require surgery. See our podiatrists for a full examination and get the relief you need.
