How do we Diagnose Asthma?

A full physical evaluation, followed by pulmonary function tests, or spirometry, will be performed in order to confirm the diagnosis of asthma and determine its severity. The pulmonologist may also order allergy tests to identify potential asthma triggers.

How do we treat?

Asthma can be treated with bronchodilators and steroids or trying to avoid anything that would trigger an episode.
