Saint Michael’s Medical Center announced the promotion of Pascale Augustin, LCSW, LCADC, CCS, to program director of Behavioral Health Services.
In her new role, Augustin will oversee administrative operations and regulatory preparedness for Behavioral Health and Addiction Services across the hospital.
Augustin joined the Saint Michael’s team in June 2024 as director of the Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment (OSAT) Program.
Under her leadership, the OSAT Program has seen significant growth and the launch of several key initiatives, including an evening program, the opening of the OSAT Boutique, and a strategic expansion of the hospital’s community presence.
“Pascale has made a tremendous impact on both the OSAT program and the community,” said Saint Michael’s CEO Alan Sickles, MD. “Her promotion reflects not only her proven leadership but also her dedication to advancing behavioral health care at Saint Michael’s.”
Augustin brings a wealth of experience to this position. She holds two master’s degrees in social work and public administration and has worked across a broad spectrum of behavioral health services.
Her previous roles include serving as a consultant for the New Jersey’s Employee Advisory Services, where she assisted the agency to become a licensed provider with the Division of Mental Health – Addiction Services. She also served as director of admissions at a methadone clinic, where she led the Medication Addiction Program for the Essex County Jail.
She currently serves as Chairwoman for the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and is a board member of Local Advisory Committees on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
