Podiatry Residency
The Saint Michael’s Medical Center Podiatry Residency is a three-year surgical program incorporating all aspects of medical and surgical podiatry.
- Access to podiatric and orthopedic surgical cases
- Podiatry is the first call for all foot, ankle and most lower leg trauma
- Daily care of inpatients
- On-call schedule for acute podiatric medicine and trauma in the Emergency Room
Saint Michael’s is in all-inclusive surgical and medical training experience. The residency has a long history and many of our attending physicians have graduated from the program. The inner-city experience allows for exposure to a diverse range of pathology.
Saint Michael’s is a long-standing and stable residency program. We are proud to say that our pass rate for the Forefoot and Rearfoot Surgical Boards is 100%. Each resident has exceeded the forefoot, rearfoot and ankle case requirements. Completion of this program gives a very well-rounded Foot and Ankle Education preparing our residents for independent practice.
