Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
Partnering With Our Community to Improve Care
At Saint Michael’s Medical Center, we believe the best healthcare is built together — with patients, families, caregivers, and staff working as partners.
Our Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC) brings current and former patients and family members together with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership to improve the experience of care for everyone who walks through our doors.
PFAC members share real-life perspectives that help us strengthen communication, safety, comfort, and access to care across the hospital.
Our Vision
To create a culture of care where patients, families, and healthcare professionals collaborate to shape a compassionate, respectful, and high-quality healthcare experience for the Newark community.
Our Mission
