Neuroma
A neuroma is a painful condition often referred to as a punched nerve or Morton’s neuroma. It is a benign growth of nerve tissue frequently found between the third and fourth toes. If you have foot pain in the ball of your foot or between your toes, or a sensation of a pebble in your shoe, it could be a neuroma. This condition can worsen without treatment and can limit your mobility due to increased discomfort and nerve damage.

Treatment Options
Our podiatrists will discuss a variety of treatment options with you. Our podiatrists may recommend wearing custom orthotic inserts to help alleviate irritation by reducing the pressure on the affected nerve. Surgery may be needed if significant pain develops and the neuroma can be removed.
